Another Happy Stay :-)

Another happy stay :-)

I currently have 2 very happy but very tired dogs sleeping at my feet following another excellent stay at Greenacres. Many thanks to all the staff for taking such great care of them. For anyone considering using Greenacres: I have boarded my two Bassets at Greenacres for the past 12 years and my Doberman before that and have always had excellent service. The staff have seen them through from inquisitive puppies through to their senior years with dedication, love and professionalism. On arrival the staff are very welcoming and friendly and always chat about how the dogs are and any special requirements when in kennels. I have total peace of mind when I leave the dogs at Greenacres where I know they receive the best possible treatment. They get fed the same food as at home, they get plenty of fresh air and exercise, medication is given in the best possible way (one of my dog is on tablets twice daily), the kennels are clean and very spacious, and the staff interact brilliantly with the dogs getting to know their personalities and understanding their needs. On collection, the staff give a verbal report on how they have been in kennels, no matter how short the stay. I would recommend Greenacres to any dog owner.

Fantastic Kennels

Fantastic kennels

The kennel staff are so kind and understanding and nothing is too much trouble they spent time with my dog settling her in as she was nervous and only when they were sure she was settled did they leave her As a result my dog had the happiest time there and was so well looked after We had to put her in kennels again and once more we left her knowing she was going to be as well looked after and given time exercise fun and cuddles I cannot rate these kennels highly enough they are simply the best!!!

Excellent First Experience

Excellent first experience

I have recently left my dog at Greenacres for the first time, being a new dog owner i wasn'nt sure what to expect. My mind was set at rest as soon as i met the kennel staff you could tell that they loved dogs and for me this was the most important thing. I was shown around and given lots of info, the visit was not rushed and i left with the confidence that this would be the loving enviroment i wanted. The day befor leaving the dog i started to get nervous i phoned the kennels and had a lovely chat about all the things he would do and was reassured that they would do everything for him including lots of cuddles !!! The day arrived and armed with his favourite blanket and teddy we dropped him off. He was greeted with lots of fuss and forgot about us straight away, The paperwork was informative but quick, we even managed a quick peek at him playing. On collection he was delighted to see us but was very happy and not in a rush to go home. Our experience has been fantastic and has given me the piece of mind to leave him again knowing he is having a good time and being loved and looked after.

Happy Dogs

happy dogs

I have just collected my dogs from Greenacres Kennels and I felt I just had to write this review to tell the world what a great place for dogs this is - just like a doggy hotel!!! My thanks goes to Mandy and Bernard who took so much time to care for my dogs- it made their time in kennels seem like a holiday too!!! I will go away on my next holiday and leave my dogs in the care of Greenacres Farm Boarding Kennels with no feelings of guilt!! knowing they are having as much fun as me!!! Thank you.

One Happy Staffy

One Happy Staffy

As this was the first time for our dog in any kennel we were a little concerned about going on holiday & leaving him for two weeks in a environment which he was completely new to, however upon arrival we were greeted just like friends and not customers, we felt very welcomed and had a tour of the kennels which were very clean and spacious, we were taken to where he was staying and was told about his itinerary for the two weeks ahead, which clearly sounded like he would also be on holiday!

We were asked about his diet and felt at ease as the conversation we went on as it was clear that these people were not just here to make money they actually do care about their customers and their pets.

I would recommend these people to anyone who is looking forward to a stress free holiday who will not have to worry about their pets who have been left behind as these people clearly understand the animals and treat them with respect and as a member of the family.

Although we travelled from Nottingham to Worbuoys it was a journey well worth taking and certainly will be doing it again.

A very well run and professional company, a big thank-you to Linda, Bernie & Shaun. The Hage's

Best Dog Kennels Since Pedigree Chum

Best Dog Kennels since Pedigree Chum

Having boarded my 3 dogs at another establishment and finding the kennels to be more like prison cells (very small, no view and dark) I was pleased to find the kennels at Greenacres to be large, light and airy and the dogs can see out of thier kennels onto the exercise yards. I was also most impressed by the grounds in which the dogs are exercised. A special mention to the dedicated dog walker Shaun who tells me he has lost a stone and a half since starting work at Greenacres Farm Boarding Kennels!

We moved to Cambridgeshire and after using two other kennels that we were not happy about we found Greeacres. Over the last 13 years they have had five of our dogs to look after and we trust the team to look after our much loved family pets. we are very pleased to leve the current three in their care as we know that they will give them all that they need

Happy Dog = Happy Owner

Happy dog = happy owner

I am vey reluctant to leave my dog in kennels after a bad experience. So after alot of researching I rang Greenacres Farm. I explained that I had a bad experience and was concerned about leaving my baby! I was told that I could pop along any time during opening hours for a look round and a chat and even to bring my dog with me. Which I did. All of the staff were very friendly and suggested putting Sox (my dog) in for one or two nights to see how he got on as he had not been in kennels for a long time, they also suggested bringing a bed or blanket from home warning me that some dogs do become destructive when left. Sox really enjoyed his night in the kennels and has been back several times, he can't get out of the car quick enough to see Berni or Shaun for a cuddle and treat. I can go away knowing Sox is happy and safe and I can enjoys myself and not worry about Sox. A very big thank you to Lyn, Berni & Shaun.

The Best I've Found

The Best I've Found

Having had a previous bad experience in kennels I was very reluctant to make a booking, but Greenacres had been recommended, and now I know why. My three dogs (one of whom is an escape artist) have never been so well looked after, with walks every day in the field and special meals cooked for my very fussy Jack Russell (milly). My two cats were very relaxed and were quite happy to stay. The staff (Bernie especially) are just great and made all my dogs so welcome with fuss and cuddles (and treats). It was a real home from home experience and I think my dobby was reluctant to leave! I would throughly recommend Greenacres to anybody and will be going back soon.
