My customers love the fact that I am "in the country", even though it's further, they return for stays. I do see the possibilities here for a Country Doggie Lodge or something similar. After all, I strive for excellence wherever and whenever I can when it comes to my four-footed (and 2 footed) friends!
With all my wasted dollars filtered into newspapers and such, it appears that people are just not reading newspapers and ads anymore. The Internet is DEFINITELY the way to go and I'm so glad I found you when I did! I haven't had to waste money on unproductive ads since I first joined your site.
I appreciate all you have done for me with your site....most everyone that calls me has found me on your site!!! What a great service you extend to the kennel owners as well as the pet owners. You are a God Send! I'm not sure how my kennels would have gotten "off the ground" without you.

1. Give owners more CONFIDENCE to contact you
With our kennels webpages, dog owners know exactly where to look for information they want. With many questions answered, and your suitability already considered - you can give owners confidence by SHOWING them what you do, and what makes you special.
Today's evolving pet trends means that dog welfare is the key to a successful boarding kennels - and to you of course, it is a matter of pride. By clearly showing what you do, you can give owners the confidence to get in touch, visit and book. They need confidence to entrust you with their dogs.
Photos are incredibly powerful - bookings can increase dramatically just by providing pictures!!! Unfortunately photos of kennels on websites or leaflets are a rare thing - few are up to a high enough standard to show anything in detail - and it can be difficult if you don't have a website, and expensive if someone else manages it for you.
Of course, we all know 'no photos' can translate as 'hiding something', and implies that the owner would rather they were not seen! But this makes NO SENSE for high quality kennels to turn away bookings like this!
If you're proud of your kennels show them

2. Encourage more SERIOUS enquiries
If your boarding kennels are good, your fees will naturally be higher - reflecting their quality, and the cost of building, heating, good food, well-trained and mature staff etc. Dog owners soon understand that heating, food, great facilities, personal care and services have to be paid for - and cheap fees can mean poor facilities or even neglect due to lack of staff or hygiene.
I know it can be a real pain in the neck to keep repeating to customers just WHY your fees are higher. But as soon as they learn just how much difference a quality and caring service provides, they can UNDERSTAND why the cheap kennels down the road is so cheap!
Lose the 'how much?' queries by attracting customers who want your particular services and a higher level of care for their beloved dog.

Just a thought occourred to me. You know how much I like your website and in the main this is because it is soooo informative and professional. Is there somewhere I can put a positive review about your web site - I think it is great for potential customers to be able to see what their options are in such great detail, everything is covered!
As the owner of a boarding kennels and cattery in Ireland I would like to say that your web site is brilliant! It is an ideal way to "showcase" your kennels. I would especially recomend to those who do not have websites because with all the pictures you can display, it is as good as having your own site and a picture tells a thousand words.
I also notice that when you google "boarding kennels" it always comes up top or near the top which is very important.
One more thing - the site owners are extremely experienced and knowledgable about the boarding business, and this shows in the site by giving all the information potential customers need to know before choosing best place for them. The site is just as good whether you are a kennel owner or a potential customer. Well done - yours is the best boarding kennel site by a country mile!!!

5. Get and give GREAT feedback!
Dog owners can add boarding kennels reviews and ratings - and even a photo of their dog!
So not only can other dog owners SEE how good your kennels are and get lots of information about you, they'll also be able to read real feedback from your customers. It's VERY powerful.
Be prepared to ask what the website your customers found you on looks like - many dog owners think that this site is the kennels' own site!
Post photos in your own Latest Guests Gallery to SHOW owners how you care for their dogs.
