Take a tour of Willow Run Grooming And Boarding Kennels Nestled in the heart area of the Piedmont in North Carolina, Willow Run provides a safe, secure and relaxing environment for your pet's vacation.

Originally established in 1989 and under new management since the Fall of 2006, we have become the Triad Area's most preferred and referred Boarding Kennel for your cat or dog!

Located 20 minutes from Winston-Salem, 20 minutes from Greensboro and 20 minutes from Piedmont International Airport

We are dedicated to the care and welfare of your pets while staying at our facility. As the new owners, Dave and Terri Allen, we strive to offer you and your Pets services like no other. We live on site for 24 hour supervision.

We strive to offer you and your dog or cat services like the "Home away from Home" our reputation our Customers want!

We have over 25 years animal husbandry experience to offer your pet for a safe, fun, and comfortable stay with us. Our spacious kennels feature large individual runs (indoor/outdoor), cooled in the summer and heated in the winter.

Our runs are also covered on top outside, with an additional security fence around all outside kennels and adjoining property for safety and security. Please visit all of our web pages, check our calendar, see our picture slide shows and then come visit us!

We understand the anxiety of leaving your pet for the first time if you are new to Boarding. If you would be interested in dropping your pet off for the day to acquaint them (and you) with us, we're happy to offer you a half day of daycare. You can call to reserve a Day of Acquaintance, Monday through Friday (depending on space availability).

You cannot tell whether a kennels is 'good' just by their name or how they describe themselves. Almost every kennels, (even the lowest standard ones) use the word 'luxury' to attract customers! So how do you tell the difference in kennels standards? Well, the internet provides a great opportunity for every kennel owner to talk to dog owners about their kennels, and show photos and videos that demonstrate their quality.

In other words, photos are evidence of their quality - photos 'prove' it!


Look at kennel photos carefully
~ they can tell you a great deal

Kennel photos and videos are clear indicators of standards
Big, clear photos of kennels on websites/leaflets are still too rare
(not enough have high enough standards to want to show them off close up, small kennels are hard to photograph well, and some facilities may not even have websites or digital cameras)

Good, clear, close-up photos indicate that kennels are confident of their standards and proud of their services and accommodation. In other words, they can prove how good they are! When you look at any kennels website (not just ours) take a good look at their photos - do they show you closeups or is everything distant?
 

What if there are no photos or videos?

Then you'll need to visit. However, we strongly recommend you be extremely wary of any business that refuses to let you see their kennels for yourself. ALWAYS visit kennels before booking your dog in to check for yourself - have no regrets!
